Vit Gearstick

Quick one for you people.

Vertical play on the gearstick, how much does yours have? Mine seems insanely loose and its like stirring a bucket of bricks. Pretty sure the pressure spring in the lever assembly is broken, that said the hole thing has fallen off a few times :)

rich get another spring and nylon bush shud sort you

Ta, might just do that, found two on ebay, both as knackered as mine though. Might see if I cant fire the lathe up and turn up the inner bush out of something a little bit harder.

rich just buy a new bush m8 if you make one out of some metal it will ware out were it sits in the gearbox
the nylon ones are only pennies
