Advice please from the Mud Club boys in blue!!
Highlander1:
Keep em on matey
Be safe be seen there small wats not like the fog light prats who blind everyone for the sake of looking stupid.
Yer not dazzling anyone and if you get stopped it would be a sad sad jobs worth who would give a toss.
They look good and I think trucks need as much lighting as possible.
PS the trucks roof lights on main beam are so that we can dip before blinding the driver being as they sit higher up. coming over the brow of a hill they see our mains before wee see theirs.
So long as its white to front and red to the back if they can tell whch way your coming that's what counts.
that's my personal opinion.
Cheers H1

I HATE CHAVS

Personally when someone comes towards me with their fog lights on, (I know technically not legal), but flicking on my own full beam (2 x headlights, 2 x 8" spotlights on front bumper, 4 x 4" spotlights on roof) and watch as its their turn to screw their eyes up!

This is why I enjoy Mud Club, I haven't really had my question answered but I have got 2 pages of really good reading (no I am not being sarcastic!) I think I will put them on the full beam override switch to be safe but if |I get pulled I can say ' must have knocked the switch with my knee officer, sorry!!'
I will have to get a petition going to get Boggert and Lord Shag Pile to transfer to Lancashire police, at least they appreciate off roaders unlike my local bobbies, we seem to becoming as big a Police target as chavvy boy racers
I am still going to seek advice off some lads at VOSA I know, I may even beable to get them to type something up to keep in my glove box if they agree with me!
Anyone else with any other info or heckle etc. .....keep posting!!

Hmm, Lancashire. Sounds interesting. Unfortunately I have done my transfer now. I now fall into the 'too long in the tooth, becomes a liability, might corrupt our new officers' category.
A friend of mine used to work on the principle of 'everything was legal, until you get caught'. It was not something that I necessarily agreed with though
