Disco_Stu:
You can get the bits needed to use the welder as a standard gas mig from machine mart for 25 quid. Just need a friendly landlord for a bottle of pub gas then :)

boss:
2/8/07 (late update)

got the back on,and the bottom half of the cab is all marked out.

my trusty work bench!

got the edges cut

started to hammer the back over but i ran out of gas for the blow torch, i carried on for a little while but the corners wernt forming wright(i did put slits in) and its bloody hard work working cold steel when you havnt got something solid for it to lean on!!

chaosego:
this got my welding fabricating juices flowing...........say for instance if you could buy off the shelf tray back with full dvd type instructions on body cut ect would there be a market for such a thing??
i have a really good plan for  just such a thing something easy for some one who could use a grinder and drill could mod their own truck and attach a pre fabbed tray back to their disco . any in put and i may get this ball rolling cheers glyn :(bigwicked):
