Lord Shagg-Pyle:
Not wishing ill upon your property, but I hope that the quad gets its own back and flips over on the light fingered wasters.

The Landy Guy:
ah right not good!

sorry to hear that!!

Range Rover Blues:
Thing is the theiving little waste of a skin is probably peeved at YOU for having been using his quadbike all day and not filling it up before putting it away.

That's really how these people think.

Dr Strangeglove:
I had a small business for a short while.  It was in an old mill and the local scum broke in and took about £4000 worth of stuff.  Due to the type of items they would probably only got about £200 for it - if that.  The Police came to investigate but what could they do!  They told me to make the place more secure.  I said I had already contacted a local iron monger and had a price for razor wire.  "Oh don't go fitting that - you may be braking the law!.  Get a proper security firm in to do it!" they said.

Chuffing wonderful - I had been in business for about 6 weeks, had not paid myself any money and had just enough money in the pot to keep turning over.  How could I possibly afford to get a company to come in and fit that kind of security?  It would have cost me thousands when all I needed was a few rolls of wire, angle iron (plentiful in our workshop) and a few rawl bolts.

We were alarmed but thieving slugs just ripped it off the wall - but saying that what use are alarms anyway.

We then fitted a heavy steel door to a compressor building at the end of the workshop.  We bought a high security padlock for £80 and welded more angle and steel to it than you cam imagine (it was like moving a skip when we had finished).  We fixed the alarm and felt happy that we would be ok now.

The local brain dead paid a visit to us again - this time from an adjoining building - breaking through three courses of brick!  The Police came again - nothing they could do again and went away.

Two days later a knock at the door - the police had caught the drug taking piece of scum collecting what he had nicked earlier.  They asked me if I could identify any of the kit he had in his possession and I pointed at a tool box and described the contents without the box being opened.  Ok they said – we will take this stuff as evidence and come back and take fingerprints and notes.  Well at least they cough the *********!  Never saw the police after that – never saw my toolbox either!  I was too busy trying to get my business going to complain!

A gent that works with my good lady has just moved into a new house.  On Tuesday he got up and when he was having a shower heard a commotion downstairs.  One of the scum local to him was pinned to the floor with his dog’s mouth firmly around his neck!  The **** had been spotted trying all the doors and had found the one to the garage open!  So the police come and the **** tried to get them to arrest the house owner for his dog attacking him.  The police said it wouldn’t stick and they would charge the guy with trespass!  Thankfully the guy had put up warning signs about his dog.

I have just got a dog myself – an 11 year old rottweiler/german shepherd cross called Blackie.  To cut a long story short he was going to be put down by an animal sanctuary unless someone was willing to take him on so we have taken him.  As I don’t want to be prosecuted for him attacking anyone I looked on the internet for signs but came across a forum.  It basically said that if you put up a sign ensure it is worded correctly.  If you put up a sign saying “Danger – dog on guard” or one of the signs with a similar sort of message, you are stating that your dog is dangerous and as such you are liable if someone breaks in and gets hurt.  (by the way – he is the most placid dog I have ever seen).

It makes you proud to pay your tax!

I am not having a go at the police by the way, I understand that they have to double dot the I’s due to our wonderful law system and those ever so nice lawyers.

I saw some kids playing on a dangerous roof the other day – I was going to report it but then thought what’s the point – no –one will turn up until after the event and then if they do show it will probably be a few days later and be at the most inconvenient time for me!  A couple of days later I saw another couple of guy stealing an aluminium sign – put my hand on my phone then again thought what’s the point.

What a wonderful country we live in!

I really feel sorry for you blackbeltbob.  I hope you get your kit back and I hope the scum sink into a bog somewhere and just become another missing person (I hope they aren’t on your kit when they sink by the way).
