Truck cab to hard top

<< < (2/2)

Tiki Al:
well hurry up i'm itching to get the spanners out

redhand:
I stripped a couple of 110's. A hardtop and a CSW the Hardtop was a piece of p*ss to strip off, undo bolts over windscreen, remove rear door, undo bolts holding hardtop to body tub. Get a couple of friends to give you a lift (3 of you will do but 4 is better). and the jobs a good un

Litch:
Easy to swop between the two body styles.

A 300TDi 90 with Disco transfer-box is an excelent conversion and one that I have been driving for nearly 3-years now. Motorways, commuting, towing, hills etc, I haven't found a condition where it isn't better than the standard set-up however as I am sure someone will now say thay had it and didn't like it so I recomend having a drive in a vehicle first as that is the only was  to tell if it will suit you.

Tiki Al:
i've had the hard top off on a couple of occations, it's a very easy job

Jim-Willy:
The sunroofs are famous for leaking..........  mine does but to be fair i havn't looked into why it leaks yet........
