Power steering box question

Have had the car in for MOt on thursday, and it passed, however I got an advisory that there was excessive play in the power steering box.

However I have recently (past two months) changed the box and drop arm with a recon unit from Paddocks.

What else could cause this play ? or does it sound like a faulty unit.

might be a loose bolt on the drop arm giving it slight play
