Lord Shagg-Pyle:

i know the british army has been facing cuts, and that they have been having trouble recruiting, but is our army really made up of squirrels and badgers?

Most amusing, especially the quote at the end of the article

"My husband hurried to shoot it but it was as swift as a deer," she said. "It is the size of a dog but his head is like a monkey," she told AFP.

Is she saying her husband has the head of a monkey? If so that was probably why he couldn't shoot it. Monkeys have never been good shots, as far as I'm aware.

As for the squirrels being equipped with spy equipment as quoted by the Iranian Agencies.
That realy does the credibility of the Iranians a lot of good.
"Oh yes, we are serious about the Royal Navy straying into our waters. We also have arrested several British Army Tree Rats".
What a bunch of wasters!

Oz:

Wouldn't they have done better with Otters then??

Shades of Hartlepool where the locals once hung a Moneky as a Napoleonic spy
