Oz:
Thats a lot of bull  no some that has had this happen... stick to your guns man

rollazuki:
its weird aint it, Ive run 2 sets of Colway MT's, and run em till they were worn out with no problems at all, My Anaconda split, and your tyres are split. Maybe they take more care when they remould Colways....?

CNorman:
Usually if you speak to people in the tyre trade (including the ones not trying to sell you tyres!) they speak highly of Colways.

Me personally i would nbever touch remoulds. People can argue till the cows come home, there is a reason they are cheap...

Smego:
who was the supplier if It was here: http://www.sowdentyres.co.uk/about.html
sales@sowdentyres.co.uk

Contacts Mark in person and remind him of all the businnes we put his way, if it wasn't e-mail him the pictures and get hiw advice?

does look like a manufacturing flaw to me!

Drift:
I bought some Machos from Mark last year , one developed a couple of lateral splits on the side wall, I called him and he asked for pictures, so sent tem to him and he forwared them to the makes and within 3 days I had a new tyre waiting in the garden for me  :D
Free.
The other I used as a an offroad spare.

I have since (this week) bought some Colway MT's from Mark as Im sure and confident that if there is a problem he will get it sorted.

And on the subject of remolds , the Father inlaw is an industrial tyre fitter and insists I dont waste mney on anything else  :?  he is 6 foot 6 so Im not arguing        free fitting though
