cheers i,ll try that when i eventually get underneath it, looks like it will be between xmas and new year now as i,ve been really busy at work and when i finish its been raining so havent actually got under it yet wheres the best place to get bushes individually then cos most places seem to sell the whole set?

TUFFTEE:
I had a recent problem with hitting bumps on the road at sppeed and i got a really bad steering shudder! i checked out everything and decided to buy a new steering damper! when i got the old one off i found it had a dead spot in the central position! Now the problem is cured with the new one! I hope this helps?
        Merry Xmas Nev....

Deflex won't sell direct 'cos of the deal they have with the likes of Rimmers and Paddocks.  Paddocks obviously cheaper but I always find , without fail, that when Rimmer's say it's in the post, it's in the post.
Treat yourself to a new set of bolts at the same time, you can then cut the rusty old ones off if they won't come out.

Look in the comics for the phone no.

well after much driving to and from the relatives etc this festive season and swerving, braking etc on straight roads i seem to think the problem is rear steering so have ordered the rear bushes as they are quite cheap and will see if they make a difference.

i,ll keep you posted on progress

Range Rover Blues:
If it shown up under braking chances are you're right, but even so I doubt you'll regret it anyway.
