Stinking Cats
diggerdog36:
What you need is Starfish, cut them up and lay them round your garden, in comes the cat, eats the starfish, then dies as they are highly poisonous to them, of course, I dont encourage the illegal killing/poisoning of cats!
I dont condone it either!!!

Dear Cat Owner (whoever you are)
Things seem to have got a little confused. You see, I guess it isn't really your cats that I hate. It is you.
You are the person who can't control their pets.
You are the person who can't be bothered to take responsibility for their actions.
You are the person who can't (or won't) train them properly.
You are the person who can't be bothered to clean up after them.
You are the person who considers all of the above acceptable, 'because it is a cat'.
This is the part of the garden where I park my car/work on it. It was paved over so that I could do exactly that. I don't just walk in this part of the garden. I kneel down. I lie down. I crawl about, in order to work out and get at whichever blasted bit of the car has broken this time. I do not see why I should have to do this through somebody else's pets discarded sewage. I also have a good deal of difficulty understanding why I should spend my time, money and effort dealing with the errant behavior of somebody else's pets.
Unfortunately, there is very little I can do about it. You see, I can't squirt your cat with water or rub it's nose in it because I am not there when it is going about it's business. Replacing your cat[edit] with lion[edit] or putting spikes in the ground isn't exactly an option either. Seeing as how that part of the garden has just been somewhat revamped, and is no longer waste ground (and never actually was, not that it stopped people dumping stuff there), I don't want to leave cola bottles or CDs laying around. People might get the wrong idea.
The chilli approach is also hardly ideal. 'I seem to have got something in my eye...hang on, I shall just wipe it with the back of my hand...Oh yes, I had to put chilli down to deal with the cats...it burns.' Like I said, I have to crawl around on the ground here. But i will try.
You wouldn't let a child walk off on it's own until you had taught them how to behave themselves, surely? Infact, you would probably take great exception if somebody else did. So why is it any different because it is your pet, rather than your kid? Is it simply because you can buy another one?
The short version of this is that because you can't look after your pets properly, they may die. Because if you arn't responsible for them, then I most defiantly am not.

OK, all this talk of killing people's pets is getting a little out of hand and we're starting to get complaints; hence I'm locking the thread.
