Pully removal

<< < (2/3) > >>

paul_humphreys:
Leave the puller on over night under load.

Paul

Mutz:
Recon someone used loctite on the shaft instead of just the thread!

Mine fell off once i got the bolt out, but that took hours over 3 days!!

Good luck, but pressure over night seems a good idea as opposed to heat, as it might just crack it open if left over night.

mark.yellow.series.3:
buy your self a new pulley, and cut the old one off.
not worth knackering the crank with too much heat.

MuddyMachine:
Yep after two days, 3 cans of pen oil, 1 broken  puller. The gas axe came out. Cut it off no probs, now just need to buy new one an change the belt.

Mutz:
put plenty of copper eaze on the shaft before you fit new pulley!!!!!
