Speedo poblems (not swimming trunks!!)

Hi Folks,
My Dad's '97 1.6 Vitara speedo has stopped working but the odometer still clocks up miles?
Any ideas

Sorted it. The cable just needed pushing in towards thedash end a bit. It may have been dislodged by my Dad's clodhoppers (sz 12)?
