loud grating sound down from 70 to 60mph

as the title suggests, I've got a really loud grating noise comming from behind the drivers seat underneath.  I've had a look under and gave everything a wiggle.  No play from the handbrake end of the transfer box and no play at the axle. I replaced all the UJ's about 2 months ago. I did notice a bit of movement in the slide joint on the prop but could this make the loud vibration that i'm getting.  I've ordered a new prop to see if it makes any diffrence.  anyone have any other ideas??

cheers
Dave

extreme90:
take one prop off and try it then do the same with the other prop

ken110:
cheers, I thought about that bu then I dont really want to do 70 in diff lock. I know it'll only be driving one prop but you're supposed to avoid high speeds to keep the the little gears in on bit :?

extreme90:
  really
i was doing 80 one time on way home in difflock

it is fun tho rear wheel drive with a 200 pushing out 150 +

ScrapyJape:
