if you are going to bend scaffold tube then make sure the seam (weld) is along the side of the bend not top or bottom. Doing this helps with the seam not splitting.

Some of the things i do at work include bending seamed tube (and notching on flywheel press. if your quick i may be able to cowmouth (yes that what its call) some of the tube for you. Got the  tool in the press  this week. hope its 48.8 mm tube
