ok me again

im looking at a td5 110 csw (t plate) (ex mountain rescue ) to replace ss.tango disco lost in the floods with all the bits on to start with so no problem there




but what are the bits to look out for on such a beast and any thing about the engine or drive train that could be a problem  :lol:  :lol:  :lol:

Well you need to lost the blue lights ;) other that that its service history, rust, rust and rust. Every thing else can be fixed. Fint if the oil pump has beed done, on some of the TD5s it is known to fall off (well lost drive).

if the oil pump is not in the service records any why of a tell tail sign its on its way out

I'd imagine if it's ex mountain rescue it will have been maintained regardless of cost?
Any idea which mountain rescue team it's from?
