The Warning...... Esp Phil
Less Is More

HSimmo:
How high did you take it?

Did mine about an inch and a half, no problems as yet although it does thump into drains and potholes noticeably more.

mill2020:
Ouch, I hate those sort of bangs and clunks, that sounds like money.

I've taken mine as far as i dare "2 inches" and so far there ok, although pot holes and drains are to be avoided at the mo.
Thankfully my friendly local Daihatsu dealer is gonna slap on some pro comp 3000's for me. Problem sorted i hope?????

Thanks for the heads up Fudge anyway, i suspect if mine go it will be as i pull into the car park at Runhall nxt week. Law of sod?

Cheers
Phil

fudge:
The fork? which goes on the end of the torsion bar and holds the spreader plate that is pulled by the bolt (still with me) has decided that it no longer wanted to be such a shape as to hold the speader bar and it's let go..... so being the "local friendly Daihatsu dealer" that I am I've ordered up some new ones, one for each side at HUGE expense, (£28 a pair) and we're, sorry my tech is going to weld a plate accross the top, its like a v shape fork thing and has let go, so hopefully a bar on the top will help it retain shape....

I raised the front 3"......

I will now wind them out a half inch too to release some presure!

Drift:
Only took mine up just over 1" with +2" shocks much more and you loose to much down travel for off road use, thats why it cluncks down the holes a bit more on the road as there is no give.

You can get a kit to help from Calmini including uprated torsion bars    few £££ though

3"    watch your camber and tyre wear
