Q3: Anything to look out for or use?

Deisel and a steam clean is also good for getting rid of silicone before doing any spraying.

Just bin avin a neb around and saw the piccy of your disco, btw looking good but noticed your tyres, are they bigger than standard?
if so what size are they and what make? oh and do u have a camel cut?

Not standrad and no mate we ain't got a camel cut, just about ok with them. Any bigger and a camel cut is going to be a must!
There only 265/70/16's.

i clean my disco tdi with traffic film remover then the pressure washer cleans up a treat

Oh btw when i bought my disco it needed a lot of work doing to it! As most do!
It was caked in everything possibly so i took it to a lorry test centre bunged them a tenner and they steam cleaned all the engine bay and all the underneath of the car.
Saves a bit of time and elbo grease and it keeps the missis happy cos ur drive wont look what your car did!
