Q1: What is it for?

Probally a stupid question but what is that plug for? It has two wires going to it and theres another on the other side just behind the head lamp.

You don't have fog lights by the look of it, so could it be for fog lights? I'm not sure actually;  I have vague recollections of seeing the same connector on Discos WITH foglights.  Interested to know now.

Could well be, hmm...

Thrasher:
Two connectors down there - one for fogs and one for the headlight levelling motors. Mirrored both sides.

I heard that the wirning loom is the same for a S, Es, GS etc.

I have the same plugs behind the headlights, If you took the headlining out on a S model you'd see the connections for an electric sunroof :wink:
