Bush Tucker Man:
'Devils Bridge'
Kirkby Lonsdale

A well-known Burger, Buttie & Tea van in this part of the country. It is quite literally yards off the main A65 (West Yorkshire to Cumbria) trunk route.
On a weekend, you'll have to share with hordes of motor-cyclists, cyclists & walkers.
The A65 is a wonderful route, but very twisty & well known for many accidents with speeding bikers.

Multi-Map Park to either side of the old bridge, but the main area is on the eastern side (marked by the blue 'P').

The burger van is to the right side of the bridge (photo taken from the A65 bridge)

'Bernies'
4 Main Street
Ingleton

A shop run by (& mainly for) Cavers. The floor is linoleum & the seats are either plastic or slatted wood. A wonderful collection of photos adorn the walls depicting underground scenes.
Like 'Devils Bridge', it is just off the main A65 route

Eeyore:
Whilst in Ingleton, if you fancy something a bit more up market (and pricier) -

The Wheatsheaf

-also in Main Street, just slightly up the hill from Bernies. Excellent food, friendly, and very well kept beer. Well above your usual pub kitchen.

Home of the 78ounce T-Bone Steak. As I understand it, if you eat it all you get another one free!

Normal sized steaks are just as tasty.
The eating areas are a bit on the small side, but if you can find a seat the food is good

And, yes, the pub name really is a differant spelling to the village where it is
