Fitting 2" lift tomozz any tips????

lots of WD helps :) but forgot to put it back in after it fell out. :( so gave up till the morning  :x

Ther are 2 main measurements of springs, free length and stiffness (spring rate)

If a spring is stiffer, but the same length then for a given load it will be compressed less so give a higher ride height.

If they were the same spring rate then they would have to be taller, but most aftermarket springs are stiffer, and useually stiffer by a fair amount if you compare them to the soft springs on range rovers.

I can vouch for that as I did mine at the weekend... the old rear springs were actually taller than the new ones!

I was unsure as to whether it had been a success as I forgot to measure before starting the work... when I'd done and climbed in.. or rather tried to... my backside bounced of the side of the drivers seat! Job done!

yeah they are a lot stiffer and look a lot thicker too.


will hopefully get the other 3 finished tomorrow and the one i started today finished too.
