Dam Wood worm

Highlander1:
I have converted my garage loft space into a wee Den Of Tranquility complete with wood burning pot belly stove.

While painting the rafters in black bitumen tar paint to replicate a ye olde
Tudor style building I discovered that some are full of wood worm and i have wee beetles emerging all over the place any useful advice before my garage falls apart.

Isn't there some sort of stuff you can spray onto the beams that kills the little sods?

Trouble is I cant get acess to all the beams without ripping out everything I have spent the last 4 weeks working on :cry:

You can but a tin of stuff that you slap on with a paint brush

Highlander1:
Will it then spread to all the in accessible bits.
