A few pics from holiday in Wales...

V8MoneyPit:
We haven't had a 'proper' holiday for years, so decided to take a few days in the Brecon Beacons before going to Eastnor for the LRW show.

For those who may be the slightest bit interested, here are a few pics:

I can strongly recommend 'Big Pit' at Blaenafon. It is enthusiastically staffed by people who worked in the pit when it was active. It is free entry, but the stuffed donations box demonstrated how good it was. I have to admit, it was actually quite emotional in places. The passion and pride shines through with everyone we spoke to.

I would also recommend the cottage we stayed at. Really friendly owners and a beautiful place... and very reasonably priced too!

Not too bad actually. Got there on less than a tank full. Same on the return trip obviously! I reckon we topped 20mpg on the motorway doing 65-70mph most of the way. And that was loaded up with the camping gear in the back and the tent on the roof rack. We detoured into Warwick on the way and Stratford-Upon-Avon on the way back.

Someones handy with a camera and has an eye for a shot, i'm guessing somewhere in the region of 1/2 second exposure on the waterfalls  :?:

Can't remember without looking up the original, but they were hand held so they weren't too long exposure! Leaning on trees/rocks/wife can help in those circumstances
