lubbing up the starter

(1/1)

suggs:
as a second thought, just incase its my new starter that is a bit sticky after some wading whats the best way to give it a greese up without causing any sliping issues on the flywheel etc

cheers

mud boy:
i had mt starter motor sieze on me a while back so i went to a place i used to work to get it reconditioned, they drilled a whole in the casing so it wouldnt hold water and now no probs at all

suggs:
mines new as ive already killed one this month, but ive been doing some deep wading the last few weeks, even if muddy water runs out a drain hole it will still leave a trace of something in there that will rust up etc..

cheers
