MoT Test Day
Bush Tucker Man:
Well today was the day, I'd booked it in a few days in advance so I could sort out any problems before the actual expiry.
I dropped it off at the Ambulance Service workshops this morning at 09:00, after the usual brief prayer & walked home
After a day that was spent mostly in the house (due to the weather), I walked the mile & half back down at 15:00.
All I'll say is...... those sheets of paper are damned expensive!!!
Artwigwa:
Unless i'm mistaken, what the landy fail on??? not that i'm being pesermistic :?
davidjmiller:
Mine just failed on:-
lights not working on beam
passenger door won't open from inside
rear wheel carrier not quite secured (I did it!!)
exhaust not attached properly to rear x-member because.....
rear x-member corroded to crap and is being replaced tomorrow.
Wonder what that lot's gonna cost me?
come on BTM, spill the beans......
David

Nothing, it just cost me the £40.00 test fee :D
I use them as they're firm but fair.
Gven that their main duties are looking after the regions Ambulance fleet, they're fairly keen on the safety critical componants.
I've used them since I bought my old 110Tdi (back in 1997)
ian_s:
i like taking my landrover in to a place that is apparently rather strict
means when i does pass, i'm doing things right :D
