Axle and diff help.

The 24 spline are stronger - more surface area. If it were me I would be inclined to just use the axle tube and rebuild it back up with all the 24 spline components.

They went to 24 for a reason - tougher - as proved by the camel vehicles.

Piglet has no rubber donut - *but* has 24 spline diffs (tru-tracs).

I too would simply rebuild my axle into the new tube ...

Thats food for thought. I think due to the fact that I've spent a lot of time on this axle now and have re greased, cleaned, polished and rebuilt everything bar the calipers I'll stick with the 10 spline.

I run BFG AT's, so my chances of busting a diff or a shaft are less than some of the simex bad boys. That said, I'll still be able to off road in the happy knowledge that if I do break something, I have a replacement sat in the garage which I can swap out with taking the bloody thing off the car in future :)
