1971 series 3
Dave:
Right i have put this here and not in the for sale as i need answers and to discuss.
I have a 1971 series 3 2.25 petrol i am thinking of selling it but the chassis need replaceing or a fair bit of weldind. The body is good it has rocky mountian paras on it 109 shackels so is lifted engine is good, new fuel tank, very good tyres deeston 750s, it has the standard seats and some recaro out of an astra, i have spare complete hubs, snorkel but not plumed in. some other bits and bobs.
It has no mot and has been off the road for a year.
So do i sell it as is or do i strip it. i know i would get more in bits but not sure if i can be bothered with all that.
Can anyone tell me how much to sell for does anyone want to make me an offer. I have seen them for sale at all sorts of prices so im a bit lost with it, nice good truck pants chassis.
Please help.

Lucy1978:
Series motors with no MOT really aren't worth very much.
I paid 500 quid for a 1972 series 3 with 10 months MOT.
I've got a friend who picked up an unregistered 109" FFR not so long ago for £89.
Stripping is a lot of hastle and takes up quite a bit of space. How early is it? what's the chassis number?

Got any pics of it so we can give further advice?
