--- Quote from: "Family Drat" ---Whilst trying to take my bumper off, the ratchet slipped and i'v managed to damage my rad  All the fluid has drained as its at the bottom but i'm wondering if its possible to get them repaired? I only replaced it last summer for a recon unit and dont want to go through the expence again. Failing that does anyone have one that they are willing to sell? Its for a diesel.

Ive got a good non leaky series 3 rad for sale £40 inc postage
electricbluebadger:
squeeze the leak closed with needle nosed pliers... stick in some rad weld or an egg if you want the cheap option and run till warm n fixed
did it after drilling my rad fitting an electric fan (oops) and months on its fine
Cheers Steve
S188:
Tidy up the hole and stick some plumbers solder in it. Use as little head as nesisarry to avoid melting other soldered joints. I used electrical solder once (all I had to plug fan damage) and even that made it useable though slightly leeky, proper stuff sorted it out!
ross501:
i sliped with a grinder and put a hole in mine got some stuff from halfords and repaired it
