The stick on my RRC becomes very hot after being used in either an off road environment or when its being used repetitively such as in town.

Its hot enough to be very uncomfortable to the touch but doesn't seem to heat up when being used on motorways.

Any ideas or is this normal?

Probably the build up of heat as there is very little wind flow under the vehicle to cool it down.

Am I right in thinking that there could/should be an oil cooler somewhere? I can't find one that I recognise as being one?
