squeak?? squealing??

Has anyone had a Discovery with a squeakey  squealing noise coming from engine bay sounds like the altenator but have taken all the belts off and its still there how about a squealing clutch under load

Could be your thrust bearing, does the note of the squeal change when you depress the clutch?

I traced my squeal to the tensioner on the serpentine belt. You have definately removed yours?
