2.8td Patrol engine number

I have a RR with a retro fit Nissan Patrol 2.8td diesel in it. My insurers want etails of the engine including the engine number. Where is it ? I have looked at every flat surface I can find but no numbers anywhere. Any ideas please ?????? :(  :(  :(
