Just been watching ‘Pimp my Ride’. Does America have any form of MOT? If so, how can half the cars be still on the road!  :(mad):  :(bigshock):  :(thinkhard):

I'm told its just an emissions test !

They are quite lax compaired to us

I do remember watching one episode where they found a rats nest in the car!

I think they have similar to Aus. You only have to have the emmisions test. But if a police officer requests your vehicle to be checked, and they find a defect. Your liable to prosecutuion. Or obviousely if you cause an accident due to poor maintenance. Bad News.
