diggerdog36:
Ive just completed the 200tdi conversion, I started the thing no probs, but then a couple of minutes later, it slowly died, and wouldnt restart, I suspect its fuel, can anyone give me an accurate route for the fuel pipes on a 200tdi with 200tdi filter! With some purpose taken pics if poss!!!

extreme90:
take a picture of your set up and show us

did you bleed the fuel system before staring ?? as air would have got in when the pipes were removed

have you tried pumping the lift pump ?

I asked about bleeding when I started the conversion and everyone said it is a self bleeding system, it doesnt need done???

stageonesimmo:
You still need to prime it up to the filter - there's not enough in the galleries of the FIP to allow it to run long enough to fill the filter and sedimenter and all the pipework.  By self bleeding folk usually mean that theres no need to bleed the FIP itself like you used to have to do in the old days........

Just to be on the safe side - whip the filter off now and just check to see if its full - if it is then you may have something else wrong!

diggerdog36:
Filter was half full, or half empty, depending your outlook on life!!! I put new fuel lines in so they will be full of air too!!!

Ill bleed it.
