muddymart:
now a few of you may know ive had this humming and droning, well ive replaced the rear diff, half the noise went, and i just got it back(friday) from the garage ,had the rear wheel bearings done, and what a difference , quiet as a mouse.
now the problem is i can get over 60+ now, and theres a slight wheel wobble , nothing really serious but its there, had to back off a little as the caravan was on the back,
any suggestions,
Martin. :P
extreme90:
steering wobble or rear end wobble ?
muddymart:
Steering wobble,
hobbit:
It could be a number of things, wheel balancing is the most common problem
if its through the front wheels
From there its like a shopping list of checks

I could also be king pin bearing wobble if the preload is not set properly, even the radius arms bushes and panhard rod ca cause a wobble.
Timi,
Also if there is play in your steering box you may want to adjust it.
