Vehicle & Technical > Discovery

And so it begins ...................Again!

Cassillis:
Having been into Land Rovers for a couple of years now and got the pig how i wanted her to look, the opportunity arose to acquire a discovery.
It started out looking like this

Not nice at all

A second hand bonnet. Puller, filler, rub down and paint for the roof and bonnet and a new front screen saw the outside sorted. Shovel first then dust-pan and brush and four washes of the upholstery  and the interior came up like new. Whilst trying to dry the interior  i realised the heater blower motor had seized solid, no surprise as this vehicle had been sitting outside unused for the last four years.
Dashboard out and a new heater box installed.
She then went on to look like this
I said, right that's it I'll use this one as a general runaround and keep the pig for off-roading no mods, no nothing, leave it as standard   ..........................................yeah right.
A set of wheels and tyres came up at the right price. This coupled with a +2" Lift and a set of Pro-comp ES9000's and she now looks like this.

Quite a nice transformation i think. Right whats next  :!:

Steven:
