Bush Tucker Man:
Did anyone see the first episode of the new series last night?

A husband & wife team!?, and no moaning about who drives

But more to the point, I'd have thought that the crewing-rosters would be drawn up to avoid that combination??

Lee_D:
Well should they be in the same car is a good question. However when you consider that not crewing them together should they wish to do so could be deemed to be discriminatory against married folk then as an Equal opportunities employer they would have a hard case to fight if anyone tried to prevent it on the grounds they were an item.

But I see where you are coming from. Funny old world in'it.

L90OOK:
On the other hand the employers would have a hard case to fight should, god forbid, anything happen to them whilst serving together...good old employment law & the great blame culture.
Damned if you do & damned if you don't. :?

chris.hunt22:
The way I would look at this is what if something happened whilst out on call like for instance a suspect claimed he was assualted by the male officer and his wife would have to give evidence to stick up for her husband, surely there would be a case for a biased opinion with it being his wife??  There is obviousley both sides of the coin to look at but it seems a bit strange that they would pair them up :?

Bush Tucker Man:
The second episode was interesting too......

The idiot who was arrested for Affray & was constantly mouthing in the back of the van.

The lad in the boot , who only got mentioned his mate (driver) thought that the car would immediately be crushed

The absolute scrote who's girlfriend was ejected after he'd crashed whilst running from the Police.
Such a pity her father wasn't allowed to 'have words' with him (although I'd be surprised if he didn't later)
And, as usual, no remorse on his part (typical charmless individual)
