I must admit... I intrigued by that comment too..

I used to run Rocky Mountain Springs on my Series 2 (springs and the matching procomp made dampers) and never had any issues.

I also had Rocky mountain springe on my series 3, and when one side went weak after i explained what had happened and what i had done to confirm it was the spring at fault he swapped it no problem.

Out of interest what colour were they?  I have a black set on a vehicle I'm still rebuilting but my dad has a grey set on his 86".  Aparently the grey ones are built in canada and were the earlyest imported to the UK and still avalable over there.  Black ones are made closer to europe and are now more common this side of the pond so the dealer once told me.  I wonder if there is any quality difference.  Both have the usual oversize bushes and folow the same design aparently.
