Right as most of you know im currently running a disco.
now i need to make a decision. do i bobtail it or not.
obviously a bobtail would be slightly lighter and there would be less overhang. however! the car is so high the overhang isnt to bad. i was thinking instead of bobtailing it just making the back end like a skid pan so it just bounces and slides off stuff.
what would be better......any ideas?

What do you want to use it for ?  That has a big effect on what you do.

i use it in winch challendes etc. the only reason im thinking of bobtailing it is because im bored of having to replace smashed rear windows and wings etc.

How about turning it into a pickup or tray back ?   You can shorten the back end, the open back will be much more practical for challenge events, and it won't look so nasty ;-)
