Disco heater matrix
LAND-ROVER-PIMP:
I'm hoping that's all that's wrong with it!
Without telling a long story, in the last 3 years it's had the head gasket done 3 times, a re-con cylinder head (re-placed cracked one), 2 P-gaskets, a water pump and gasket and now the heater matrix has gone!! Any comments??
Is it possible the block or bores can have a crack somewhere forcing pressure into the cooling system??
You know when you get that feeling that there's something not right!! :(
Any suggestions??
LAND-ROVER-PIMP:
I've just had a read of the Haynes manual.. :?
Have you really got to take out all the air distribution unit? And disconnect the pipes from the bulkhead?
Or does any one know of any short cuts that may save me a s*** load of work??
Cheers.

Not what I wanted to hear!!
I'll just have to start stripping the dash tomorrow and hope for the best.
Bought a new matrix today £56, I'll fit that and see what else decides to go after that!! :(

Not sure what bits you got with the matrix but you will also need new clips , the two " jubilee " type clips that hold the pipes to the matrix are single use , they were on my 300 tdi disco anyway , you may find it easier to get a new set of pipes aswell ? about £35 from Rimmers , as I ended up having to cut a 3 inch section of pipe out and fitting a flexy pipe in .
