higher amp alternater

hay guys,hope you can help,

i want to put a bigger alternater onto my vit,its a 1.6 8v carb fed motor,

is there any thing out there that will fit straight on,

if i remeber rightly evilgoat fitted a bigger one to rabbit im sure he said it was the v6 version but best to ask

16V CFi has a 75A alternator that was for me a drop in replacement.

I raided a renault 19 for alternator parts so its possible its a variant of the same alternator in some renaults but the connections wont be the same.
