rrc steering wheel

--- Quote from: "bigedyant" ---If you look on the back of the original wheel, you'll find a black disc set into the foam. Prise it out with a screwdriver. Remove the two lugs which you just prised it out by, and using self tapping screws, mount the plastic disc to the rear of your steering boss. This is what turns the collar on the steering column to activate the self cancelling indicators.
Works a treat on my '87.

Yeah, it's proper fiddly to get lined up just right. I put everything in place then gaffer-taped it together so I could drill and screw it without everything moving. Would be easier if the collar wasn't such a loose fit on the column
