2.5nad 90. Diff switch location?

hi, first post on here so i will try to keep it short. Great forum btw.

A couple of weeks ago i bought my first land rover 90, its a 2.5nad and is in pretty good shape. Everything seems to be working pretty good except for the diff light. I have looked around the forum and others to try and find the info i need but cant seem to find any.

I know the diff lock is working because i have tried the test thats mentioned on the forum, so no problems there. I know the bulb works because i have swopped it with  others in the panel.

With the under seat panels removed i can see a bolt with two electrical connectors at the end (at the back of the selector housing), i presume this is for the reverse light, as when they are touched together it comes on. To the right of it (drivers side), on the chassis, there is another connector hanging freely, it is not a long wire, in that it will probably only reach as far as the handbrake mechanism. Could this be the connector for the diff light? tbh i havent found the switch for the diff light after a week of looking and removing things, oiling / cleaning them and putting them back. So if someone could let me know where it is or a photo or something i would be very appreciative.

Thanks.

errm got waylayed and forgot bout the pic

to locate the difflock switch, remove top panle were middle seat is,
look inbertween the transfer box ( where the front prop goes to ) and the gearbox, right at the back ( hand break drum end) there will be a switch sticking up, exactly the same as your reverse light switch
thats what your looking for
