phatpete1:
me again,

i am looking to change the suspension on my 110 i am looking for a small lift but more the articulation. The main thing is to stop me feeling like am going to fall ova when going round a corner as it starting to feel a bit like a disco lol. unladen it very hard and bouncy. if i drive round with half a ton in the back its fab. if any1 has a miracle cure give me a shout! thanks

mmgemini:
What tyre pressures are you running unladen ?

Jimbo:
My 110 was/is the heavy duty version - it had 'helper' springs on the rear, these are smaller diameter coils that fit inside the normal springs to 'help' with heavy loads. I took them out - makes for a much smoother ride, less bouncing about, and I guess, more axle articulation (not tried it yet, so don't know for sure)

Funny Jim both Margaret and myself think that our station wagon rides much better and has a smoother ride with the 130 helper springs fitted.
It's nowhere near as harsh as it was without them.
