Where do I start?...Ok the battery went flat on a friends 1996 P38 2.5td, we went through the EKA  procedure worked a treat, but now the consul says alarm fault, the remote wont re sync after loads of attempts, and if you get out lock it with the key, the only way you can restart it is to do the EKA  procedure every time...........any ideas we are at a total loss

I have heard of something similar. Dealer came out and 'fixed' it with no equipment. I've no idea what the bloke did at all, but it took just a minute.

I wondered at the time if there was another 'master EKA' ritual/procedure known only to dealers?
