How could anyone from Gods County feel downtrodden?

4/5ths the size of Wales mate. More acres than words in the Bible.

Im sure BTM can add a few to that. I must be the exception to the rule as runnign the disco empties my wallet faster than i can earn it.

We're not downtrodden, but we do feel sorry for anyone who's not from Yorkshire :wink:

It's the largest English county, Lincolnshire is the next largest county (half the size of Yorkshire)
Rutland is almost 40times smaller

Only because the non-metropolitan county of Lincolnshire has grabbed "North East Lincolnshire" and "North Lincolnshire" into the bargain.  Devon's the second biggest if you ask me!

Actually if you look at ceremonial counties (ie, Yorkshire = North Yorkshire + West Yorkshire + South Yorkshire + East Riding) then I reckon Devon is biggest outright.  <ducks>
