Ralph; sorry but can u upload some photos of your new toy ? sounds very interesting n fun but i can't imagine how it look like !!

Try driving it along some ruts, stops pretty quick as they don't have much ground clearance..  That's their main weakness.  I saw one on a green lane once, it didn't get very far as it got stuck in ruts *really* easily.  Quite easy to get it out though as it's small and light but having to hop out and heave it around every 50 feet or so gets boring quickly.

the main parts importer is only "just" up the road from you, here in Llanidloes.

Well i took it to water, only just though. I put it on the back of a transit tipper to transport it but when i went to drive it off down 2 scaffold planks one slipped and i was promptly thown straight out of it, the argo just kept on going though had to jump back in! Drove down very steep river bank into the water and went for a mile or so upstream, floated like a boat in the deep parts. Got out of river went up through a forestry for a few miles and then it happend. 2 miles away from transit the drive belt snapped!!! :oops:  Pushed it for a mile back to the nearest forestry track then left it and went to get truck, had to then turn the gearbox pulley by hand to get it back up planks and on to truck. Just got in worn out will have to wait till next week to get new belt. Never got stuck once and believe me i put it in some positions on banks that you could not stand up on.
