multifunction unit?

i am working on my sons disco(300tdi) and have managed to trace the fault through the wireing diagrame to the multifunction unit :shock: anyone know where this is in the car?? i am traceing the problem with the headlamp washer system. any thoughts ? many thanks

It probably means one of the stalks that does lots of functions

Look for anything with "lucas" wrote on it :wink: . Must say never heard of that.
