EAS ECU
ScrumpyJack:
Hi All,
The EAS ECU is still playing up,
Does anybody know of a mobile auto electrician with a rovercom that will work on a classic,
Had one out the other day, but he didn't have the right licence for a classic????,
Could do with one around the Farnborough area, or it's of to land rover I go, been given my orders from her indoors and have to get the car back on the road by a week on Saturday,
If it doesn’t work this time it’s a coil conversion.
Cheers
Ian.
Range Rover Blues:
Yeap when you buy Rovacom it has all the up to date modules pre-loaded, how many are hard wired and how many are in the operating system I don't know but once you have the hardware you have to buy unlock codes or TUP codes to access the diagnostic section of each module. I only have the modules for the classic so far and they fit nothing else, even though the P38 EAS is very very similar.
ScrumpyJack:
That'll be why then, he said he's never had to do a classic, just P38 and on,
So now I still could do with a mobile bloke with classic module capabilities,
called landrover today and the cost for plugging in is between £75 and £84+vat,
RRB, if you happen to be out and about and passing Farnborough, lend me your rovacom
waveydavey:
Try the independants; there are a few systems around (Rovercom being one of the better) but the smaller garages won't charge as much as a main dealer.
Range Rover Blues:
If you get really in the s*** send me your ECU and I can read it for you.
