TYRES
Oz:
Hay guys have any of you got/tred good year Wrangler AT/R tyres on there motor. These are what on my disco when i pick it up just wanna no if they are any good off road
Oz:
Hay sum 1 muste dhave tried them?
Budgie:
Got a set of 265x70R15's on the Rangie and TBH the tread isn't that deep or spaced out so sloppy mud would be a problem.
With ours being 265 profile they also tend to aquaplane quite a bit if you hit a puddle on the road but they have worn well and if I was looking for a road tyre that would be the one, only thinner than 265.
CNorman:
Never nused them myself but i would have thought they were good.
The wrangler MT's are used for the camel trophy if i am correct.
Range Rover Blues:
Which AT tyres though, they do several (and keep changing them).
I've had 3 different types on the LSE and all were good on the road but not that great off it.
Then they also do a very good AT in 205 but not 235/70, these are better off-road.
All in all I find Good year quite confusing, they call most of their 16 inch tyres 'wrangler' so you don't know what you are buying.
