my 93 defender is due it's first MOT with me any advice on what i could do to ensure it passes? i have heard that using veg oil can reduse the emisions is this true?

wouldn't worry bout emmissions...mines a 1985 c reg an passed the emmissions easily an thats with the pump wound up!

Mine failed on emisions after it was breathed on by allisport. Not sure why yet though as others have turned them up even more...

Wynns cleanburn helped get me through, and a damn good working out a few days before my retest.

either that or wind the pump back down slightly!
