50% is pretty outstanding actually.

Crossheads are normal on the big two strokes; one of the many bonuses is that you hardly ever (if ever) need to change the oil. Mind you looking after the oil is a big job as you moniter it continously.

Love the picture; personally I do prefer MAN B&W to Sulzers. I'll see if I can dig out a picture of a Gotherverken; they were wierd; the camshaft was on the outside of the engine!
